We initially got started in treating Migraines when some local pain specialists wanted to use ergot derivatives in a suppository form. Then we had requests for oral forms of the same class of drug. Then one of our physicians read about a product being used in Europe that was not available in this country. This product required making an effervescent powder which dissolved in water like an alka seltzer.

We currently make 11 different formulations specifically for migraine, containing ergot derivatives, anti-nauseants, antispasmodics, and analgesics. Current dosage forms include capsules, suppositories,
nasal sprays, and
effervescent powders.
